This perennial is semi-evergreen so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

- Soil: fertile, well-drained soil
- Rate of growth: vigorous
- Flowering period: May to October
- Hardiness: fully hardy
A vigorous and long flowering cranesbill that forms attractive clumps of deeply divided, noticeably veined, evergreen foliage. From late spring to mid-autumn, open clusters of salmon-pink, funnel-shaped blooms appear, fading to blush as they mature. - Garden care: In midsummer rejuvenate plants that are beginning to look jaded, by removing old flowered stems and leaves. Lift and divide large colonies in spring.
