Diascia Little Dancer ('Pendan') (PBR)
diascia
This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
- Position: full sun
- Soil: moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil, or general-purpose compost for containers
- Rate of growth: average
- Flowering period: May to September
- Hardiness: frost hardy (may need winter protection)
Prolific and long-flowering, this colourful perennial produces its bright pink flowers throughout the summer if grown in a sunny spot and dead-headed regularly. Compact in habit, they also look wonderful when planted en-masse in a sunny border, but are also excellent for pots, rockeries and hanging baskets.
