  • Sharp narrow blade moves easily in soil, cutting through roots
  • Perfect for working in small/restricted spaces
  • Durable stainless steel and shock-resistant ash

The classic perennial spade is a long-standing tool that’s been part of Sneeboer’s range for generations. A compact version of their pointed spade, it’s made for jobs where a full-size spade would be too cumbersome.

This one has a particularly narrow blade and shorter handle so it’s tailor-made for working with precision close to the ground. Used with a comfy padded kneeler it’s just the ticket for tending beds and borders.

The spear-like blade is forged by hand, sharpened on both sides and tapered to a sharp point. Great for driving into soil to dig planting holes, lift bulbs and divide perennials and especially good in heavy or compacted soil.

You’ll find it nice and easy to slip between established plants too, whether it’s to lift perennial weeds or pop in a few more bulbs or plants.

Made from stainless steel with a 42cm ash T-handle. When dried, ash is one of the lightest, toughest, hardest hardwoods available as it absorbs shocks without splintering.

Supplied with a 10-year guarantee on steel parts (1 year for the handle).
