Camellia oil is the traditional choice in Japan to protect tools from rust, both for cleaning and as a regular protective coating. This 100ml bottle of camellia tool oil is a blend of cold-pressed natural Camellia oleifera seeds and white mineral oil.
Odourless, non-toxic and easy to apply, it coats metal with a deep non-oily layer to keep it lubricated and rust-free. It stays nice and viscous in cold temperatures, so it doesn't get gummy and sticky like some vegetable oils. Perfect for all bladed garden tools, and handy for kitchen knives too.
How to use:
First remove any leaf resin, gunk, grime and rust from the tool blade using a Crean Mate and water. Dry well, wipe over with camellia oil and store the tool in a dry place.
