This steel bin is a great idea to keep on your kitchen worktop. Powder coated in grey with simple 'COMPOST' lettering and nickel-plated handles, it looks as elegant as a compost bin ever could!
You can throw in your peelings, cores, rinds, carrot tops, used coffee grounds, egg shells and mouldy fruit and veg, and empty it out on the compost heap when it’s full. The airtight lid keeps it sealed so you won’t have to worry about flies or unpleasant smells.
The removable inner bucket holds up to 3.5 litres of waste (make the most of it by chopping up the bigger bits). You can either put food directly inside or line it with a bag to keep it clean.
