A luxuriant, pastel purple mix of solid burgundy-purple, and golden-splashed maroon flowers, all with a frilly, semi-double petalled edge. ‘Frizzle Sizzle Purple Shades’ beams with quirky, face-like, scented blooms bred to be happy in baskets, borders, containers and window boxes over the winter. A compact evergreen perennial, but most commonly grown as a show-stopping annual, the flowers of this viola are edible and can be added to salads as a decorative garnish.
Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 4 - 6cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting out in the garden.

Garden care: Keep well watered, and feed with a good, high potash fertiliser (such as Tomorite) on a regular basis. Pinching off the spent flowers will encourage more to form.
