This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

  A mid purple summer stalwart with tones of lilac and lavender make this superb, free-flowering verbena one to try out combined with pale pink, regal red or burgundy. 'Enchantment Purple' has serrated foliage and is a wonderfully vibrant, wildlife friendly container and hanging basket 'bedding plant’, where it will trail happily in large pools of richly robed ground cover.
