Ruby amethyst container plant collection

This collection contains a vibrant red and purple mix of bedding plug plants for pots and baskets. One collection comprises 10 large plugs, with 5 large plugs of each of the following: - Petunia 'Tidal Wave Red Velour': Offering sumptuous colour all summer, this trailing petunia looks wonderful when spilling over the edges of a pot or hanging basket. Alternatively, plant it at the front of the border and let the stems, each studded with rich, velvety red flowers, spread to form ground cover. Grows to 50cm.
- Verbena 'Endurascape Dark Purple': Producing a delightful mass of creeping clusters of deep purple blooms, this beauty flowers abundantly throughout the summer contrasting wonderfully against the bright green foliage. It is ideal for planting in pots, baskets, or the border where it will trail happily in large pools of richly robed ground cover. Grows to 30cm.
Grown in individual plug cells, each plant measures about 7 - 10cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant).

Please also be aware that the pot in the photo is not supplied with the plants. - Garden care: Grow on under glass and plant out after all risk of frost has passed. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushier growth, and feed at regular intervals with a high-potash fertiliser throughout summer.
