Narcissus 'Sun Disc'

jonquilla daffodil bulbs

Product Image
Broad, overlapping perianth segments, which fade from buttery yellow to rich cream as they mature, surround a flattened, darker yellow corona. Appearing in mid-spring the button-like flowers top neat clumps of dark green leaves. Charming and natural looking, each stem will usually produce between one and three scented flowers. An 'Award of Garden Merit' recipient, 'Sun Disc' is a shorter variety that naturalizes quickly and has leaves so fine they almost look like blades of grass.

How to care for Narcissus Sun Disc:

Wearing gloves plant bulbs 10-15cm (4-6in) deep and 10cm (4in) apart in autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, deadhead the flowers, but do not be tempted to cut back or tidy the foliage after flowering as this will interfere with the bulbs’ ability to store energy for the following year's flowers.
