A tender and short-lived evergreen perennial (most commonly grown as a showcase annual), this seasonal bedding plant showcases a dense, semi-compact habit with excellent branching. Adorned with dark green, velvety foliage, it produces clusters of intense dark blue flowers during the late spring and summer with a delightfully sweet vanilla-cherry fragrance. Notably attractive to pollinators and beneficial insects, this plant serves well in butterfly and bee friendly gardens, contributing both aesthetic and ecological value.

  • Garden care:
Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can be planted outside in a well-prepared bed or pot. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feed with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer.
    • Pets: Harmful if eaten repeatedly
