An upright, evergreen tropical houseplant with thick, leathery, often decoratively speckled or intensely coloured, variegated leaves. These are rich green, patterned (and in some cases completely covered) with yellow, orange and copper when young and developing dark green with age. ‘Mango Tango’ may bear sprays of small, white, star-shaped flowers in summer though this is more noticeable on mature specimens.
