Clematis 'Mayleen'

This climber is deciduous so it will lose all its leaves in autumn, then fresh new foliage appears again each spring.

Large, vanilla-scented, wavy-edged, satin-pink flowers in May and June amid bronze-flushed, mid-green leaves. This vigorous montana clematis is perfect for covering a large fence or wall in sun or partial shade, or scrambling through up into large mature trees. As long as it's given sufficient space, 'Mayleen' generally requires no routine pruning until about five years after planting.
