This climber is deciduous so it will lose all its leaves in autumn, then fresh new foliage appears again each spring.

  Rich crimson-red blooms, resembling lily-flowered tulips, from July to October and mid- to dark green leaves. This late, small-flowered clematis is perfect for training over an arch or pergola in full sun or partial shade.
