Native to Vietnam, this unusual houseplant exhibits unique foliage adorned with long hairs, and when grown in low light conditions, a delicate blue tint can develop. Begonia sizemoreae forms a clump of dark-green rounded leaves featuring a pale green band. The surface of the leaves is deeply crinkled, and they bear very long, scattered, white hairs, while the undersides boast a striking dark red hue. The leaves and stems are intriguingly ridged and covered in incredible 2cm+ hairs, making them a delight to touch, especially when young. Small, white-blushed pink flowers appear throughout the year.
