You don’t need much space at all to enjoy this solar bowl water feature. It’s just over 30cm in diameter so the footprint is very compact. Just right for a wall or step, the centre of a garden table or a sunny balcony. It’s made from real ceramic in a warm natural cream and decorated with pretty raised flowers around the centre of the spray.
The power comes from a separate staked solar panel so there aren’t any running costs, and it’ll operate for up to four hours when the battery is fully charged. Four warm white LEDs illuminate the water as it bubbles up, adding a little light to the garden after dark.
Please be aware that solar water features are intended for use in the spring and summer, when sunlight is at its strongest.
Taking care of your water feature
Keep water topped up in the warmer months, but fully drain in the winter months to protect against frost damage. Adding a couple of capfuls of water treatment every few weeks will help prevent algae build up.
Clean regularly with a soft cloth and soapy water. Limescale on the solar panel can be removed with lemon juice. If you live in a hard water area, we would suggest filling the water feature with collected rainwater or previously boiled water.
