The new foliage of this handsome little shrub emerges each spring a yellowy green, but over time it takes on a richer lime green colouring. When grown in a sunnier spot, Magical Lemon and Lime's leaf colour will remain quite bright, but in areas where the foliage is in shade (or towards the centre of the plant), the foliage will turn a rich dark green.
How to care for Nandina domestica Magical Lemon and Lime ('Lemlim') (PBR):
Select a sheltered location in full sun or partial shade, with well drained soil. When planting, mix some well-rotted garden compost into the excavated soil of the planting hole and dust the plant’s rootball with mycorrhizal fungi.
