How to care for Mentha × piperita After Eight:

When plants have finished flowering in summer, cut flowered shoots back to 5cm (2in) above the surface of the compost. Mint is vigorous in the garden so so restrict excessive growth by by planting it in a large pot and keeping it well watered.
