Dainty spikes of snapdragon-like flowers proliferate in a plethora of bold and pastel colours from June to September. ‘Fairy Bouquet Group’ blooms 20-30cm high and planted en-masse, is a fabulous sight. Excellent for cutting, these annual toadflax are very easy to sow and grow.
Growing instructions:
Surface sow indoors onto moist well-drained seed compost. Cover with a thin layer of sieved compost. Germination takes 5-21 days at 20-30°C. Transplant seedlings to 9cm pots, once large enough to handle. Acclimatise and plant out (50cm spacing) once the risk of frost has passed. Alternatively, sow directly May-Jun or sow in September for flowering the following year.
