Hemerocallis 'Strawberry Candy'

daylily

Product Image
With its vibrant, ruffled coral pink flowers, this daylily bursts into bloom from July, featuring a striking picotee edge and a blush of strawberry red around its yellow-green throat. Known for its extended blooming period, each flower can last up to 24 hours, with additional blooms emerging throughout the season.

The plant forms an upright clump, reaching up to 65cm, with semi-evergreen, strap-shaped leaves that provide year-round interest. RHS award-winning Hemerocallis 'Strawberry Candy' is a reliable and easy-to-grow cultivar, perfect for adding bold, colourful flair to garden borders.

How to care for Hemerocallis Strawberry Candy:

Plant crowns at 60cm intervals in a sunny spot, making sure that their roots are firmed in, but their crowns are above soil level - then water well.

Apply a generous 5-7cm deep mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant (avoiding the immediate crown), and once the plant has started to bloom, deadhead faded flowers regularly to encourage more to form. Lift and divide every three years in spring.
