A large maidenhair tree variety with a striking upright, columnar growth habit and dense foliage with distinctive, fan-shaped, lush green leaves that provide ample coverage in summer. In autumn, 'Golden Spire' transforms with spectacular golden-yellow foliage and is non-fruiting, unlike some other ginkgos.
