Floating island for shallow water plants
Simple to plant and easy to install, these square floating island planters are made from lightweight Styrofoam with an open base which allows water to reach the plant's roots.
They are ideal for adding marginal aquatics or bog-loving plants to ponds that don't have planting shelves. With a little twine, they could easily be linked together to create a larger island which will make a perfect resting place for thirsty birds.
Suitable for all our square 18cm x 18cm pond plant baskets. Simply slot the basket into the hole in the centre of the island.
