In August and September this woody deciduous climber is literally smothered with panicles of tiny, funnel-shaped, pink-tinged white flowers. Ideal for covering an unsightly structure or wall in sun or partial shade, but plant with caution since it's extremely fast-growing and canend up choking everything in its path!

How to care for Fallopia baldschuanica:

To avoid dry conditions, and to ensure good soil contact around the rootball, we advise planting climbers at least 30cm (12in), and preferably 45-60cm (18-24in) away from the base of a wall or fence. An even larger distance should be maintained when planting climbers beside an existing tree or shrub.

Each year in early spring cut back to fit the available space.
