Small magenta-pink buds form along the length of the upright stems from late summer, never fully opening, but offering several months of late colour. 'Teresa' forms part of the Garden Girls series, and its compact habit and long season of interest make it a valuable addition to pots, windowboxes, borders or alpine beds.

When planting incorporate lots of composted pine needles or leaf-mould into the planting hole. In March or April cut back the flowered shoots to within 2.5cm (1in) of the old growth.
