A fantastic grass-green coloured evergreen fern, with a yellow-gold variegated ‘ribbon’ running through each of the fronds. Plant them as a bold group, or use them as a contrast to other low-growing foliage plants such as Heucheras and other ferns.
How to care for Arachnoides aristata Variegata:
Incorporate lots of well-rotted leaf mould or garden compost into the planting hole. Overwinter potted plants in an unheated greenhouse, or provide a deep, insulating mulch around their base to protect them from the cold. In late winter, cut back the old and tatty-looking fronds to allow new growth to emerge.
