Anemone coronaria Saint Bridgid Group Mixed

garden anemone bulbs (syn. Anemone Saint Brigid)

Product Image
Splendid, semi-double or double flowers in deep red, blue, violet and white appear from March to April amongst fresh green, parsley-like leaves. These jewel-like anemones are ideal for providing early spring colour for a sheltered, sunny site. For the best results pre-soak the tubers before planting and protect with a cloche or dry mulch against extreme winter weather.

How to care for Anemone coronaria Saint Bridgid Group Mixed:

Soak the tubers overnight in cool water and plant them in naturalistic drifts (it doesn't matter which way up) 5cm deep and 15cm apart from September to November, or (for later flowers in spring), February to April. Ideally you should choose a spot where they can be left undisturbed so they can naturalise and spread. Avoid excessively wet conditions when dormant.
