Anemone coronaria (De Caen Group) 'Die Braut'

garden anemone bulbs (syn. Anemone The Bride)

Product Image
Slender stems rise from mounds of dissected foliage bearing green-centred, papery white flowers in early spring. Planted in large numbers, their simple elegance looks divine. 'Die Braut' can be used to great effect to provide contrast to stronger colours or picked for the vase for cut flower displays.

How to care for Anemone coronaria (De Caen Group) Die Braut:

Soak the tubers overnight in cool water and plant them in naturalistic drifts (it doesn't matter which way up) 5cm deep and 15cm apart from September to November, or (for later flowers in spring), February to April. Ideally you should choose a spot where they can be left undisturbed so they can naturalise and spread. Avoid excessively wet conditions when dormant.
