POT RECYCLING SCHEME
Plastic is a significant problem in the gardening industry, so we've introduced a plastic pot recycling scheme at Dorney Court. So bring your unwanted plastic pots to us, and we'll handle the rest.
Which pots can I bring?
We can accept plastic pots of all shapes and sizes as long as they are clean.
What do I need to do to my pots?
Please wash your pots before bringing them to us.
Where do I take my pots?
Please follow the signs on site and place your clean pots in the collection bins provided.
What will you do with these pots?
Whilst most non-black plastic pots can be recycled, most councils in the UK will not collect them. As a result, we have partnered with recycling experts to close the circle and recycle these pots for you. Unfortunately, due to the risk of pests and diseases, we cannot reuse these pots in our nursery.
Why do you use these pots?
As a business, we are committed to becoming more sustainable, and for all the plants we grow ourselves, we only use recyclable taupe pots. In addition, we are working with our supply chain partners to significantly reduce all non-recyclable plastic pots by 2025.
