Ignite the spirit of nature in you and your loved ones with our all-in-one seedballs kit! Each kit contains a carefully curated blend of wildflower seeds, nutrient-rich compost, and a special clay binding agent, making it a breeze to create your own seedballs. Simply roll and toss them into your favourite outdoor spaces, and watch as colourful blooms burst forth, supporting essential pollinators and creating a haven for wildlife. Ideal for nature-loving kids and grown-ups of all ages, unleash the magic of wildflower meadows effortlessly with this thoughtful gift.

Each kit includes 3 plastic free pouches of raw materials, which when mixed together with water will create enough mix for 40-60 balls (size depending!). You’ll need a mixing bowl, some water and a tray to dry the balls on. Also included is an instruction sheet giving full details of how to make the balls. Making seed balls can take from approximately 20 minutes to an hour depending on your dedication to rolling perfection! Scatter at any time from early Spring until late Autumn.

What is a Seedball? A ball made from seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder.

Why use Seedballs? The ball prevents the seeds from being a tasty lunch for birds and insects, thereby increasing the chances of your flowers growing. Plus they’re super easy to use, no digging and no expert knowledge needed!

How do I use Seedballs? Throw onto soil or compost in a garden bed or planter in Spring or Autumn, leaving at least 10cm between each ball. Your Seedball has everything it needs to grow and, once the ball becomes moist and the temperature is right, your seeds will germinate!

What area will my Seedballs cover? We would usually advise 20 seed balls per square metre, or 3-5 seed balls for a 35cm container.

All seed is responsibly sourced in the UK from Flora Locale accredited suppliers.
