Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can then either be planted outside into a well-prepared bed, or used to fill decorative pots and hanging baskets for the patio. Regularly check potted plants for water to maintain consistently moist soil, avoiding waterlogging. Starting mid-summer, use a potash-rich liquid fertiliser (such as liquid seaweed or tomato food) fortnightly. To preserve plant health and prevent grey mould, remove withered flowers and yellowing leaves once or twice weekly to keep your impatiens vibrant.
