This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

This vigorous ground hugging perennial produces masses of medium to dark flowers all through summer. It is a brilliant plant for pots or window boxes, or simply spilling out from the front of a mixed border. The bees and butterflies will flock to this colourful little gem.
Garden care: Protect plants from the cold weather by applying a dry winter mulch around the crown.
